Harlan Kilstein On Yoga

November 30th, 2009

Ever since I began doing yoga, I’ve discovered a lot about myself.  After neglecting my body for many years, even the most basic positions were challenging.

I remember being unable to do a simple “cat dog” and touching my toes was a near impossibility.  But over time, much has changed.

I had to learn that my body has limitations.  Yes, I can do hand stand and peacock pose, but my shoulders are paying the price.  It was very difficult for me to learn to respect my body and its limitations.

But as a mastered this lesson, I found new doors opening.

And now I’m beginning to wonder where my studies will take me next.
